Lucky charity rides off with the prize
Margaret Haes Riding Centre collected a cheque for £180 raised by the attendees at a seminar for Charities organised by three Bolton businesses, Bentleys Chartered Accountants, Fieldings Porter Solicitors and NatWest.
16 local charities and not-for-profit organisations were given advice by Charities experts about how best to ride out the recession but it was the Riding Centre from Bury who scooped the proceeds raised on the night. Trustee Tina Rushton said,
“The seminar was great value for money and I went away with food for thought for our next trustees meeting. The prize money was the icing on the cake and will be spent on some much needed new riding hats for use by our special needs riders.”
Charities requiring for specific advice should contact Bentleys specialist charities partner, John Shaw on 01204 388675.
